Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Nexo (the "Service") at nexoapi.com and its subdomains, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.

2. What Nexo is

Nexo is a prepaid AI API gateway that routes your requests to upstream AI model providers. The Service includes a web console, a REST API, and related surfaces.

3. Billing

Billing is prepaid only. You add balance by redeeming a code that Nexo issues to you out of band. The Service does not subscribe, recur, or auto-renew.

Redeemed balance is non-refundable. Per-request rates are set by Nexo and may be updated at any time; rate changes apply to requests made after the change.

4. Acceptable use

You will not use the Service to break the law, infringe third-party rights, generate illegal content, circumvent rate limits, or resell access without written permission.

5. Upstream providers

Your prompt and completion content is forwarded to the upstream AI provider you select. Those providers handle your data under their own terms and privacy policies. Nexo does not control their retention or training practices.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit and the content the Service returns to you. You are responsible for how you use it.

7. Availability

The Service is provided "as is" without any uptime guarantee. Nexo may suspend, modify, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.

8. Account termination

Nexo may close accounts for abuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms. You may close your own account at any time via Settings → Delete account.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nexo's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Changes

These Terms may be updated. Material changes will be announced through the Service. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
